WRD Hands-on Workshop: Site Evaluation

Join us IN PERSON, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, for a free Hands-on Workshop: Site Evaluation, hosted by the Water Replenishment District of Southern California and Rancho Los Cerritos. Come join us to learn the necessary skills to properly evaluate your landscape for opportunities to make changes and to produce a simple landscape site plan:
- Review the Watershed Approach to landscape as it applies to an actual landscape
- Evaluate existing site conditions
- Observe soil health conditions
- Review irrigation efficiency and health of existing plantings
- Identify opportunities for land contouring to capture rainwater
The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up here.
Start time is 2:30 pm. We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to get settled.
